Hot, Hot, HOT

The last week it has been getting progressively hotter here by the day. Today is supposed to be 94 and tomorrow also...now that's SUMMER! We took the kids and Grandma and Grandpa A downtown to the Pittsburgh Regatta on Sunday evening. It was, of course, very hot. We saw a motorcycle stunt show, skydivers, and the power boat races. It was actually a little TOO exciting...one of the cyclers lost his bike on a jump and took a big fall and one of the speed boats flipped upside down. Everyone was ok though, thank goodness.

Carter has been enjoying riding his trash-picked power wheels. Derrick has been all about this thing since he found it two weeks ago. He's already purchased a tractor battery to make it go faster and he is planning a custom paint job. Yes you read that right...can't have his boy driving around a pink and purple Barbie jeep you know.

Reese is on the verge of walking now. Last night she stood up from a sitting position at least 10 times without holding on to anything. I'm scared. She is a maniac and I can only imagine what she'll try to get into once she can really walk.
